My very first Hackathon! We competed and won 2 sponsor prizes at the UC Berkeley AI Hackathon. The event was sponsored by OpenAI, AWS, Intel, Hume, Groq, and many more. My team and I created a "Scam Scanner" which flags and notifies users of scams as they are happening. This is done using the phone number, transcript, and most notibly the emotions of the callers using Hume's API.
An exciting time to be starting my Master's in Information and Data Science (MIDS) at UC Berkeley. Just 6 months after the launch of ChatGPT, I was in the middle of the action.

Camp Kesem is a camp for kids who's parents have been impacted by a parent's cancer. Set the foundation for SDSU by hosting the first ever Camp Kesem raising over $30,000 to send 30 campers.
